We love to get involved in the community that we support and help them experience the difference.
MILFORD BOWLING CLUB
Team Roberts is proud to be a sponsor of the Milford Bowling Club.
The Milford Bowling Club, located near the Milford marina and shopping hub, is one of the North Shore’s most progressive and innovative bowling clubs.
Their two quality grass greens, facility laden clubrooms, and friendly, fun atmosphere make them the envy of many other clubs on the Shore. They welcome bowlers of all levels- Social, Business House, Roll-up or Competitive– They would love to hear from you!
In addition to lawn bowls, they also offer a myriad of other activities including indoor bowls, darts, pool, petanque, mah jong and SKY sport.
You can hire their clubrooms and other facilities for birthdays or community events (kitchen, bar, BBQ, PA) at very competitive rates.
FORREST HILL PRIMARY SCHOOL
Team Roberts is proud to be involved in Forrest Hill School as a primary sponsor.
The school’s vision of ‘nurturing growth for a lifetime of learning’ is something we cherish being closely involved in. We love seeing the families of the community come together and grow.
Throughout the year we spend time with the school from their Fun Run to their Cultural Carnival at the end of the year. Weekly we love to be involved in Garden to Table where the children grow their own produce and then make lunches for their classmates. You can see us either rolling up our sleeves digging spuds or inside chopping up chives.
This year we are happy to be involved in the Music Gala incorporating children from early childhood to Year 13 from the seven schools in the area including double Westlake. Look out for our Coffee and Cone Cart where the profits go back to the schools.
Westlake Girls High School Squash Team
Michelle Roberts has been a keen squash player for 30 years, representing New Zealand in many tournaments. She has now taken on coaching the Westlake Girls Premier Team. Each week she whips off to coach the keen girls and get them in to shape both physically and mentally at the High School courts.
Michelle loves to give back to a sport that has supported her for so many years. She loves seeing the joy in the girls faces as they learn and improve. Recently her team played in the Auckland Secondary Schools Championship and won overall. A fantastic result and many more to come.
